Privacy doesn't have to be plain. While standard frosted glass offers a uniform look, Textured Privacy Glass adds character, depth, and style to your windows and doors. From the classic "Rain" pattern that mimics water cascading down the pane, to the vintage "Pinhead" texture found in many Toronto century homes, Installix offers a wide range of privacy glass options. Rain Glass

A vertical pattern that looks like rain streaking down a window. It offers high privacy and a natural, organic look. Very popular for bathrooms and modern front doors.

Pinhead (Morocco)

A tight, pebbled texture that sparkles in the light. It offers medium privacy and is often used to match existing glass in older homes or commercial entryways.

Glue Chip

A fern-like, frost pattern created by applying animal glue to the glass surface as it dries. It provides excellent privacy and a classic, traditional Victorian look.

We incorporate these textures into a standard double-pane thermal unit. The textured surface faces the inside of the air space (so it doesn't collect dust), leaving both exterior surfaces smooth and easy to clean.

We install the unit with the texture facing the sealed airspace for zero-maintenance privacy.
