The Science of Efficiency

Low-E Coatings

Microscopic metallic layers on the glass reflect long-wave infrared heat. In winter, they reflect interior heat back into the room. In summer, they reflect solar heat out.

Argon Gas Fill

We replace the air between the panes with Argon, an inert gas that is denser than air and slows down thermal transfer.

Warm Edge Spacers

We use non-conductive "Super Spacer" technology instead of old aluminum spacer bars. This prevents the edges of the glass from getting cold and sweating.
